Sarah Ulmer's fundraiser for the Make-A-Wish Trailblaze Challenge

Hey everyone! So I did something crazy and hiked 26.3 miles in Alabama, in the dead middle of a southern summer with about 18 other people. I know, why in the world would I do that? Well, every day there are children facing life threatening illness that don't get to grow up exactly like you and I did. So, a group of us took on this hike, and are raising money, all for an organization that helps these children feel like kids again.
In June, I paraticipated in the Trailblaze Challenge benefitting Make-A-Wish. In just one amazing day, I trekked across a section of the Pinhoti Trail for the Make-A-Wish Mississippi Chapter. It is a 26.3 mile trail boasts some of the most scenic views in the Southeast. I completed the challenge through some intense heat, massive boulders, even some light rain, AND now I'm trying to meet my goal and raise $2,500 for Make-A-Wish by July 21, 2017.
I decided to take on this challenge to raise awareness as well as money for Make-A-Wish Mississippi. Make-A-Wish grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy. A wish come true empowers children to fight harder against their illnesses. When they are granted a wish, they get more than just a great experience for a day, two days, or a week. That experience improves the quality of life for them and their entire family.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity!
